quality for life

Built for Generations

Protect your investment with a shed built to endure the demands of farm life. Designed for strength and durability, quality materials ensure your hay shed stands strong for generations to come.

01

Structural Steel

5-10mm thick structural steel rafters are hot-dip galvanised for superior rust protection, ensuring a lasting hay shed and valuable addition to your property.

02

Quality Timber

Pre-drying timber reduces the moisture content by up to 60%, which results in materials that are lighter, easier to work with, and won't warp over time.

03

Quality Control

Your kitset is triple-checked for quality control and ensures every component is included, packaged, and labeled for straightforward installation.

Maximise Your Hay Storage Capacity

Design a farm hay shed tailored to your bale size to ensure every square metre works for you. As experienced hay shed builders, we help eliminate wasted space and streamline your bale loading process to increase operational efficiency.

Invest Smarter

Consider the long-term impacts of your hay storage building. Our expertise in shed construction ensures durable, long-lasting structures that outperform short life-cycle alternatives like tarpaulin hay covers.

Increase Operational Safety

Don’t risk lives. Keep your team safe and operations running smoothly by building a shed that eliminates the need to work at unsafe heights when securing covers.

Built to Last

Hay covers only last a few years and lead to more wasted bales due to weather damage. Invest in a hay storage shed that will last for generations.

FAQs

Got questions? Find clear, straightforward answers to the most common concerns about designing, building, and customising your farm hay shed.
How Wide Can I Make The Bays?
Bay sizes start at 4.8m, extending up to 6.0m with timber purlins or up to 10.0m wide with fully enclosed Steelbone® purlins. Bay widths vary depending on the construction and can be tailored to suit your needs or adjusted for maximum efficiency, which can be enhanced with a clearspan design up to 21.0m wide.
How High Can I Build My FARM Hay Shed?

The most popular height for storing general contract machines and equipment is a 5m side height. Large-scale storage requirements typically require pole heights of 6m - 8m at the side.

Will My Hay Shed Require A Building Consent?

Yes – because we specialise in buildings over 120m², all of our kitset sheds require a building consent. The good news is we’ll work with your local council to organise this for you!

Can I Add to My Storage Shed Later On If Needed?

Yes, this is possible; however, it will be more cost effective to do it all in one go. Talk to our team about your longer-term vision and we can help you understand your possibilities.
