5 Customised Sheds to Get You Inspired

1. Aircraft Hangar

This aircraft hangar in Manawatu measures 11.0m by 24.0m long. It has a 0.45m eave on both gable ends, adding depth to the exterior facade. The Ironsand cladding matches the existing machinery shed while the board and batten timber wall cladding on the gable end adds to the aesthetics of the building. Combined, these materials help the shed blend into the natural surroundings. 

2. Mancave and Storage Shed

This custom shed in Rotorua measures 12.0m by 12.0m and serves as a mancave and storage shed. The FlaxPod coloured steel cladding and Cedar sectional doors provide a bold contrast to make the shed more visually appealing.  

One of the key features includes wall wrap to all internal walls, making the shed a light and bright space to work in. The three doors on the gable end make it easy to move vehicles in and out for maintenance while the side door ensures easy access to the road and nearby lake.

3. Mancave and Workshop

This North Otago shed is a mancave and workshop, measuring 9.0m by 20.0m. A 0.9m overhang provides additional shelter from the rain when the roller doors are open. The client chose Titania cladding for the walls, Ironsand cladding for the roof, and Ironsand roller doors.

4. Mancave

This lifestyle storage shed is 10.0m wide by 20.4m long, with 0.6m eaves on all sides, providing an eye-catching finish. Located in rural Auckland, the client wanted a reliable and practical building to use for vehicle storage. The exterior is finished with Ironsand cladding and three Series 2 roller doors in Flaxpod.  

5. Car Storage Shed

This large premium garage in the Auckland Region was designed as a car display shed. It measures 9.0m wide by 26.6m long, with a 5.0m roof-only bay. Inside, there are six 3.6m wide bays that are fully enclosed to store a variety of high-end vehicles.

On the exterior, the client chose matte blackboard and batten wall cladding with glass panelling. This matches the existing buildings on the site and creates a sophisticated, contemporary look.
